Dear HUPO Members,
We are writing to invite you to the second workshop of the HUPO Cardiovascular Disease/ Biomarker Initiative entitled %u201CProteomic Based Biomarker and Biosignature Development: Mechanistic, Clinical, and Therapeutic Implications%u201D; the workshop is to be held in conjunction with the upcoming joint BSPR/EBI 2006 Conference on %u201CIntegrative Proteomics: Structure, Function, and Interaction%u201D. The HUPO Cardiovascular Disease Initiative workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 from 10:00am - 5:00pm in Murray Room M203, at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge UK (the same site as the joint BSPR/EBI 2006 Conference). We want to contact you as soon as possible as this may impact your travel plans. We anticipate that approximately two hours will be dedicated to operational issues, preceded by presentations related to cardiovascular proteomics and cardiovascular biomarker discoveries, organelle proteomics in cardiovascular systems; and translational cardiovascular investigations. Registration will soon be open on the website of www.BSPR.org, where you can also find details concerning travel to the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus. Further details and registration/abstract forms for the subsequent joint BSPR/EBI Conference %u201CIntegrative Proteomics: Structure, Function, and Interaction%u201D (July 12-14, 2006) can also be found at this website. |
